My focus is on serving my clients with personal, professional service. Serving both Individuals as well as businesses with their financial needs, I like to get to know my clients. Knowing their situation helps me uncover what they might need from a tax and financial standpoint.
I started preparing taxes as a side business in 1994 while holding down a
I grew up in Germantown, Wisconsin and I live (and work) just two miles from where I grew up. It was a great feeling having my kids go to the same schools that I did. I enjoyed seeing how things have changed since I went there. I then attended UW-Whitewater and earned my degree in Accounting.

Along those lines, I have been a coach for the Cross Country team at Germantown’s Kennedy Middle School since 2011. I also work with kids as an Advisor for the DeMolay youth group since 1996 and remain active on the Local, State and International levels.
I am grateful to be able to have served on several Boards of Directors for Charitable and Non-Profit Foundations. I believe in giving back to the community where I can.
I welcome calls from my clients to review their situation, ask questions, or just to chat about things they are thinking of doing. Give me a call and let’s start talking today!

Michelle Gross
michelle@breitzcpa.com
Michelle became an Enrolled Agent (EA) in June 2001 after passing the Special Enrollment Exam, and the suitability check administered by the IRS. The EA is the only federally licensed tax professional and is one of the three classes of professionals (Attorneys, CPAs and EAs) allowed to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Continuing education is required to maintain the EA status, 72 hours of federal tax law and ethics over a three-year cycle.
In December 2004 Michelle branched out on her own after working for several different firms and founded Gross Tax Service LLC in Germantown. Gross Tax Service LLC teamed up with Kevin Breitzmann CPA LLC in December 2018, where Michelle continues to serve individuals and small business owners.
Michelle believes that having a trusted tax professional is akin to a family lawyer, doctor, banker, and financial advisor. Building a relationship of trust will provide confidence and peace of mind when life serves up situations requiring professional service and advice. She takes pride in offering superior service to her clients and is always available to talk taxes when called.
Michelle is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the Wisconsin Society of Enrolled Agents, and the National Association of Tax Professionals. She served as Secretary and Vice-President of the Wisconsin Society of Enrolled Agents and remains an active volunteer in the organization.
After tax season Michelle enjoys reading mysteries and participating in a variety of dog sports with her Australian Shepherd, Freddy.
